Extensible Provisioning Protocol (EPP)In August 2006, Tucows migrated its inventory of .com and .net domain names to the Extensible Provisioning Protocol (EPP). This is because the Registry Operator for .com and .net required all Registrars move their names to EPP by October 2006. Effective 29 October 2006, all registrars must communicate with the Registry via EPP. As a result, an Auth_info authorization code will be required for ALL transfers of .com and .net domain names.
